Lowering with custom height springs

Greetings all ! Im building a 1965 swb C10 and have conflicting info on whether to use springs or dropped spindles for front.Id like to be at -3" from stock height and -4" rear,but do not want to compromise handling or performance.Im using an 1981 front end.

Id sure appreciate help on this,Im putting it all back togather this week and rather do it all once
