TH400 Dipstick Broke

My build just keeps throwing me curve balls.

I put in a new 400 trans in the truck which was a replacement of the original 400. I bought a new tube and dipstick for it but it did not fit so I had to put the old tube and stick back in. I was checking the fluid and I pulled out the stick and the bottom fell off back in the pan. I measured what was left and from the broken tip to below the handle (rubber) it is 30". All the other sticks are 27". Am I going crazy are what. Can anyone tell me a place to get a replacement stick that should be the correct lenght( I am guessing 32"). Also what is the normal stick depth below the end of the tube?

Thanks
