Hey, I got one of those! It was prop in a kevin costner movie that no one saw. I 'swagged' it when the pic was over and they were throwing stuff out. I bought a bunch of rods and jets from the Edelbrock Thunderor 1825 for a rebuild. The accelerator pump had a purple leather cup. I couldn't find the 3-stage metering rods, anymore. I have one pair of deep-dish primary jets, that some P.O. had switched to the back, secondary jet position. [.100. I think]
Somebody looked it up on line and said it was out of an early '70s 440 Mopar. I've back burner-ed the project for now but I'd like to know more about your carb for future reference. I never thought about using it on an L6 though. I think 500 CFM for a 296CuIn build: [292 @ .030- over = 296] is already too fat, but , heck, I got tired of always adjusting my Holley 390. After a 25 year run, it was shot...
