What year motor?

I keep toying with the idea of changing over to a small block 350 but some guys tell me to keep the 250 straight 6 I have and build it.

IF I decide on a 350 out of a wreck, what year motor did they stop using standard carburation?

I don't want to mess with computers and flow valves and all that new stuff.

Just a good old fashion 4 bolt main 350 with a standard carb.

What years should I be looking at?
