Can I mix years of UCA's & LCA's?

Finally converting my '67 2WD to a disc/disc setup. I've owned the truck for @16 yrs now, so no time better than the present

I got the spindles, upper & lower control arms and steering linkage from a donor '79. When I unbolted the control arms from my 67, it became very apparent that the LCA from the 79 was not going to fit my truck because of header interference on the left side !

Im running a set of Headman #69092. Four speed tranny with the clutch linkage rod is why I have these headers. I really don't want to buy another set of headers since my cash went for the disc/disc conversion

OK......here's my thoughts.....Any reason I can't run the upper '79 control arms (new bushings) with the '67 lower control arms? OR should I just stick with the '67 upper & lowers all together?
