Captain, I didn't think about the pressure problem with that fuel pump, but it will certainly be more than a carb application will stand. It was already getting more complicated than I wanted with wiring up a relay to run it, so I am scrapping the electric fuel pump in favor of a mechanical one.
I had to get the fuel pushrod and the fuel pump today. Cost me less than half of what the electric pump cost alone. Only question I have about this: This pump has a fuel return port on it, but I don't have a return line. Can I just plug it? Also, the input is marked, but the other 2 aren't. Any idea which is the return?
