Emergency Brake Rod
Hey Guys,
Got a '71 K20. When I got it, all it had was one rusted out front cable, no intermediate cable, and two rotting rear cables. I got a whole setup from Inline Tube. Really nice stuff. I went to attach the cables and found them really sloppy. After doing some research, I see that there is an equalizer rod required and two guides, which I was missing. Ordered those up, and now I can't for the life of me see where the equalizer rod is supposed to attach. I've seen a pic where it looks like it attaches on the passenger side frame rail, by the transmission crossmember, though I can't see any place where that might be on my truck. Does anyone have any real pics on their trucks of where the rod attaches to on the frame? Mine is a 350, 4 speed, if that makes a difference. Thanks guys! |
