What is the best exhaust configuration?

I put an 86 chevy 350 in my 69 gmc, it has an edelbrock performer intake and 1405 edelbrock carb with no emissions. Currently the exhaust manifold come together. What is the best option for my exhaust configuration and what can I expect? FYI I don't drive fast but enjoy the drive.

Do I separate the exhaust and run exhaust out from each manifold?

Do I run both manifolds into one and run it out as one?

Do I run both manifolds into one then separate into two?
