Can i use a 70 model swaybay??on my 65 c-10

Ok this might have been asked before > But here goes. Can i use a sway bar
off an 70 model chevy truck On my 65 chevy short bed truck . I have all the mouning brackets from one post looks like i need to use the rivet spot under the core suport for mounting.
ie cut and remove the rivit .if i do this will the swaybar sit low on the truck??
using the 70 model bracket .. i have 70 model aframes on the truck with the mounting holes in the aframes.. or do i need to use the 60-66 style swaybar ??
