700R4 into a 71 K10?

Happy Thanksgiving gents. Quick question for ya. Looking at a 71 K10 Cheyenne. Kind of a neat truck - it is an end of the year build truck and the original owner included the Cheyenne Super pkg. Super's were primarily a 72 deal. Anyhoo, thinkin that makes it kinda special, but not real hardover on an all original truck - it's missing the original 350 anyway... All I know is it's an automatic, unknown if TH350 or 400 - I believe both were available in K10s(?) or was it just TH350s in K10s?

Here's my question - never done this in a 4x4 before: Is there room between motor and transfer case to swap in a 700R4? They are several inches longer, so just curious if it's possible.
