Need Brake Booster Advice
I currently have a 3/4 ton master Cylinder and I'm not sure what constitutes a 3/4 ton brake booster. Does 11" Booster = 3/4 ton ?
It's a long story how I got here, but I'll give you the short version for your amusement. I bought a kit off of e-bay years ago, and when I finally installed it I couldn't get the master cylinder to bleed, so I went to O'Reilly's and got a replacement master cylinder that I thought would fit the lines, but it wound up being a 3/4 ton master cylinder, and the lines were reversed, so then I got the right lines for the 3/4 ton master cylinder. It works now, but it just doesn't feel like it has enough power and the booster is too small. When you stop laughing at me could you check this 11" booster from E-Bay and tell me if it will work with what I have now? The Ebay listing says it's compatible with C10 , but the 11" booster at Summit says it's compatible with C20 or C10. I could go with LMC which explicitly says it is 3/4 ton, but it would probably be black and I would prefer the zinc plated if possible. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-Gm-11-...sories&vxp=mtr http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFF-2228NB/ Picture of what I currently have is below: |
