Suburban purchase questions

I am looking at buying a 64 2wd burb. It doesn't have an engine or tranny, but I have a fresh 327 and t-350 to put in it.

I have never owned a burb so what do I need to look for as far as rust areas, missing parts that are tough to locate, etc.

I has the upper and lower type rear doors and has the rear bumper. I know firewall forward they are basically the same as a pickup, but what rear end do they use? are they coil or leaf in a chevy burb?

burb guys educate me on what to look for and watch out for.

The guy is wanting $1000.00 bucks, and I have plenty of 4-5-6 pickup parts for the missing stuff up front

Thanks
