Things that make you go "What the Heck!?" this winter.

Yesterday I was driving to work and came up on a residential area called 3 lakes. The front lake is near the high way. When I went by I noticed what I thought was an American Bald eagle. I had to turn around to be sure. Sure enough it was. He or she was pecking through the ice and feeding. I'm surprised the bodies of water here have any ice on them at all. It's been in the mid to high 50's here lately. It was super windy so sorry for the bad pics.

Sunday I was driving to my shop mid afternoon and I saw what appeared to be a hot air balloon in the air. Yep, I wasn't seeing things, it was! I got to the shop, ran in and grabbed the camera. It was a decent day out but I'm betting mid 30's. I highly doubt it was a warm ride with how the wind was blowing for the occupants in the balloon. Again, sorry for the bad pics, they were landing when I started taking pics. You can barely see the balloon in the pics. It's above the tree line behind the morton building next to the 2 bigger trees off in the distance.
