Minimizing track width while retaining current components
I'm in the process of ordering parts for my current build. I'm swapping a 50 AD body onto a 69 C-10 chassis.
The C-10 front end has ECE drop spindles an ECE disk brake setup. I'm a little concerned with track width, and I'm trying to bring the tires in with backspacing, but I'm also considering going with some different spindles. The ECE spindles brought the wheels out a fair amount, and I've read on this site that there are other drop spindle options that retain a narrower track width. My initial research points at CPP modulars, but are there any others? Is there any chance any of my options would allow me to reuse the ECE disk brake kit that I've already got? Thanks |
