427 tall deck help

Hey guys need some help or ideas here, im in the process of putting a 427 td in my 83 4x4 swb. most of it is all bolt in minus a few things. I know alot of ppl think it is a stupid swap thats your opinion and your entitled to it it but the thread is not about whether i should or not its about trying to get this thing to work haha. So my two problems are 1 the starter and 2 the hole in the front of the high rise intake.



i had to change my water pump to a 454 water pump because the one the was on it had a 3 inch hose on it because of the big truck rad. I am going to run my in and return lines direct to my rad so im gunna plug the holes on my water pump so i was wondering if anyone knew how to or had any ideas on plugging the hole in the intake?


My second question is if anyone knows what kind of starter this thing will take cause all the ones ive tried had offset bolt holes and this motor has a straight bolt pattern i got one from a 69 corvette 427 but it will only work if i can get a cast iron bell housing. any help at all would be really appreciated trying to get this thing done by good friday so i can run it
