Unhappy front drop rub (one side only) ???

OK,

Something I noticed this week. As I continue to weigh my options to fix the rubbing front driver's fender well bolts to the tire after doing my spindle/coil/brake work last week, I realized something I'd not noticed before.

I put some stock springs back in and now it seem apparent that the LHS tire (275/60/15) on 15x8 wheel comes "out" of the fender well maybe 1/2-3/4 inches more than the RHS. Now this would have NEVER been apparent with the stock suspension set up.

There really is no evidence whatsoever that the truck was in any sort of collision (mileage, condition, tracks straight, no repair "clues" leftover, etc...), so I am a bit confude about this and I'm not sure where to measure to determine the problem.

Anyone else seen this before? Suggestions on where to begin determining the problem, if there is a problem. I intend to get it lifted up a 1.5" from where it was when rubbing, before going to a 225 size tire, but I don't need tires yet.

And beside that, this is just bugging me.
