Old floor jacks never die…

We all love handmade tools here and my buddy Gerry is one of the best at cooking up cool things.

He OK’d my showing off his VW engine stand, which started life as a broken floor jack & scrap metal.

Obviously good for much more (with modification) including this differential (Corvette I believe).
The fact that the refrigerator grate fit the leg width was just a fluke and I can proudly flaunt
the idea as my own!

I did not see this being built so I don’t know the process used but the pics should show enough detail.
Enjoy and get to welding fellas!

Anyone else have good uses for dead floor jacks?
