You could get cruise control in the V8 passenger cars in 1963. I had a complete setup which had a Perfect Circle motor for controling the speed. You would attach all the components to the small block and it would have the stock speedometer cable connected to it then a shorter speedometer to your instrument panel speedometer. It had an offset bracket for the altenator tensioner. I have pictures but not saved to this account.
