lift drive shafts

i have a 4 inch lift on my 81 k20 with a 4 speed granny gear and i think a 208 transfer case. my front drive shaft rubs in 4wheel drive if i drop the transfer case with what chevy had to hold crossmember in place will that get rid of the rubing nosic its a single cab long bed 4x4 also will it mess up the rear shaft. thanks
