from leafs to coil?

I am redoing a 71 gmc swb frame to put under my 67 chevy. the original frame is twisted in the front, but the I beams and coils are still good. Is it hard to put those on the new frame, if I remove the leafs? What do I have to watch out for. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.
