Thanks swammie thats about what I thought it might look like. When I pulled the ecm from my 97 there is a plastic bracket bolted to a huge steel bracket that also had the ABS thing mounted to it. Looks like the PO removed all the garbage and used the mount holes on the ecm only. I would like to move it out of sight maybe behind the glovebox but for now I will just get it running without hacking the harness too much.

and you are correct the seat is from 88-94? truck, 95 changed interior like the 96 up model vortec 5.7 trucks. There are a few differences in the pattern of fabric and they added headrests in some models later. my 93 has the 60/40 seat with headrests but earlier trucks have the same with no headrests. good looking and comfy seats!
