Drop a '67 SWB Advice
I would like to lower my '67 because it's way too high. I really like the look of the 4/6 drop - but I'm trying not to break the bank. It's got drum brakes and 6 lug pattern on there now. From what I've gathered - to go with a 4/6 drop - you have to put drop spindles on the front - upgrade to disc brakes - c-notch the rear frame - relocate the shock mounts - get an adjustable sway bar, along with drop coils, etc., etc. I'd also have to change the wheels to match the 5 lug rotors - which I plan on someday anyways. It's just looking like it's going to cost alot of money to lower the truck 4/6 inches.
Is the lowest I can go just swapping the coils out 2/4? |
