ignition switch sticking in the 72

so, every once i a while the ignition will stick. not as much for me but for the wife and son seems to happen more. I sprayed some lub and worked the key on and off and it seemed to help but even with the lub it would still stick. I have to slide the key back out a tad, wiggle it a tad and then it will work fine for a few days then when you stop thinking about it it will stick again. any suggestions
