thanks for the advice ill be sure to read up a little more on transmission rebuilding before attempting to do so, and that is pretty smart i would have never thought of that im pretty sure it will save me a lot of trouble in the future..... by the way is it possible to lift a transmission with an engine hoist to have it off the ground when working on the clutch or is it safer to just leave it on the ground? another thing around how many floor jacks should i use to lift the transmission back in place?
