New Project vehicle.

Initial plans are to get some tires and brakes on it a try it out. After that who knows.I have some ideas but don't know how far or in which direction I will take it.I had wanted to do one for a while, then at a show here in Feb. there was one done up and I got the fever again.Yesterday I saw this on CL and the $$ was right so......
All the mechanicals on it work though the brake cable is a bit short.Baskets are side by side but look original.Everything is a bit rusty but I figured to paint the rims and such anyway. It's been a while since I've done anything on a bike but unless things have really changed .........
It'll have to set for the next month or so since I have a trip but I don't gotta have it to get to work or anything.
I do have one question,it originally seems to have had 1.75 X24 tires, does anyone know if I can put a 2.125X24 on the same rim?The rim looks to be about 1 in from inside lip to inside lip.

I think it will make a decent around the neighborhood and swap meet cruiser.
