Maybe found new motor for my 67

So I'm at my favorite scrap yard today and the guy knows I'm looking for a new motor for my 67 he tells me he just got in a 427 tall deck out of an old grain truck I didn't think much of it at first because it probably needs to go to the machine shop to be disassembled and checked out but now it's eating at me as the truck will only be used for heavy towing and such I know I can pick this thing up cheap prob as little as $100 should I go get it. I have searched and done a little reading seems like a killer motor for a 3/4 to that all ready has an sm465 trans and 4.10 Dana 60
