Help! Fender bender, looking for the paint codes
I had a fender bender a month ago (not my fault). Insurance gave me a nice check for the damages. They said since my truck is low mileage and in excellent shape they are not going to total it.
My front driver side fender is pushed in and I have minor scraches from the front fender to the driver side rear wheel. Also the trim will have to be changed. So I talked to my paint and body man and we are going to paint the whole truck. Im going back to somewhat original colors. My truck was a two tone, dark brown (with some gold metal flake) and tan. But I found the tan a bit on the light side. I found the tan on the newer f250s (two tone trucks) about what im looking for. My question is how do i decode my vin to get the paint colors?
