Need yall's advice
Im looking at switching out all the bushings on my truck
74 chevy shortbed 350 vin V I noticed that I need to replace my control arm bushings upper and lower Ive looked online to see if i could maybe just replace the bushings in the control arms but everything i keep finding says to: burn out the rubbers with a torch Take out the sleeve with a air chisel and with a press put them back on problem is i dont have any of those tools so i was thinking just replace the whole control arm Ill get the new control arm, bushings, rods, bump stop, ball joint What do yall think about that? I went online to advanced and autozone and they were saying saying 130 for each upper control arm i was like 275 thats alright i guess But upon looking online i found them for 70 bucks shipped? what do yall think buy them from online? links http://www.drivewire.com/search/?N=0...universal:0%29 http://www.racepages.com/parts/control_arm/c10.html any advice guys |
