Compressor and air tool questions
Well today I was looking for something to cut the middle out of a couple 3/4 ton hubcaps ( I loaned my saber saw to one of my sons I may never see it again lol) and I stumbled upon these two boxes, and a couple of extra air tools. I had totally forgotten I even had them.
One set I got from the neighbor. I bought a couple of trucks, a bunch of tools and a large compressor from him. The compressor is sitting in a corner for now. I want to build an outside shed for it before I use it. The other set and extras I bought from my brother. I also bought a small compressor from him. That one I use around the shop now to clean up messes and to fill tires ... that's all lol. Ive never had a reason to use air tools, but heck since I have them I may as well figure em out, right? All of em say oil daily, and there is an arrow that points to the air fitting opening. Do you just put it in there? If so how much, and what kind? If not, where? I still don't want to hook up my large compressor to use the tools if I don't have to. Here are pics of the tools, and the compressor specs. Can I just use the smaller compressor for now? BTW, I still don't have anything to cut the middle out of my hubcaps ![]() Hmm, looks like the specs for the smaller compressor are hard to read ... 8.6 @ 40 psi 6.4 @ 90 psi
