rear end ratio question
My 63 has a 454 with a Muncie (M20 I think). My rear end is way too low for my liking. It sucks on the freeway and sucks the gas!. Theres a stock rear end on Craigslist from a 66' SWB 6 cylinder 3 speed. He says its a 12 bolt. The guy said he thinks it should be a 373 gear due to the 6 cyl 3 speed. Can anyone confirm this? I'm actually looking for a taller gear, maybe a 273
