I'm finally starting to put my '68 C10 Fleetside back together. I'm running an ECE 4/6 drop and have converted to 5 lug front and back with 71/72 discs in the front and a 71/72 rear end assy.
I know that I shouldn't even consider tires and wheels until I get it all back together, so I can measure, but I want to start looking now and be ready if I find a good deal. What size wheel and tire combos are you guys (and gals) running on similar trucks. I'd like 17' or 18" wheels and tires with enough sidewall so they don't ride like a rock. I am particularly interested in getting the correct backspacing so they fit in the wheel wells right. I also understand that the 71/72 rear is a little wider than the stock '68. This truck will be a daily driver so it has to be usable but we all know that the "stance" is most important. Thanks ![]()
