Frame Dimensions
I have a 69 1/2 ton 4x4, and the frame from the bed back is pretty pitted. It's not rotted all the way through but it can't be very strong. Are the frame rails from a 73-87 frame the same size (height, width) I was thinking I could just cut the pitted sections out and weld in pieces from a doner frame and brace it good. 67-72 4x4 frames are hard to come by in New York that aren't rotten.
