Just wanted to say hello.
Just purchased my 16 y/o Daughter and I a 1987 3/4 ton 2wd standard cab with a 454tbi.

Don't flame me yet.....she has had a 4.0 GPA for the last four years of school. I told her when she started Jr. High that if she kept the 4.0 until her Junior year.....I would buy her a Car.......She told me she wanted a TRUCK....AWESOME..... I love Chevy and Love the old ones much more. She picked it out and loves it......

Looking for a great deal on some tires and rims.....8 lug of course. Wanting to get it lower, but still need it to tow the 27 foot camp trailer.

Any deals??...I will search the board again and keep checking.

I will post some pics in the Long Bed forum soon.

This truck will be used by my daughter to drive to school and I will use it to pull our trailer for camping trips.

It needs some paint and that is about it. Small amount of rust.

Thanks for all the information you have all put into this board. I hope to contribute soon as I get ready to paint this truck.
