Using washers to space wheel temporarily?
I am running a Ford 8.8 rear end in the rear of my '49 Chevy right now. Currently I have the box on and the inner edge of my tire is hitting the lip of the box. So for a temporarily solution (Just so I can roll it around the garage), if I was to use grade 8 washers on the studs to space the wheel out, do you think that would be a problem?
Again I will not be driving on them. I am just trying to be able to roll it around the garage and get an idea of ride height at the moment.
