wiring

Hello All, this is my first visit to this site. I have a '66 C-10 LWB that I am beginning to rewire. Previous owners added new wiring here and there but most wires seem to be original. However, that does not mean the newer wires are in the original locations. A 350 motor was added along with electronic ignition, the reverse lights were removed in favor of LED blinker lights at the rear, and an after-market turn-signal module was added to the steering column. Rewiring will be a challenge but it is time to get it running again.

The truck came with an EZ Wiring harness. The harness did not come with molded connectors, like the one on the firewall next to the brake reservoir. Do I bypass it totally and, if so, what method is recommended? Or, is it possible to reuse the connector somehow. A similar connector on passenger side is missing so newer wiring was routed through the opening. Is that the only option I have on the driver's side? Or, what other suggestions are out there?

Thanks for your input.

Bill
