Re: Halo headlight setups for c/10's

Be careful of ebay halos. I bought a set of 4 (5.75") for my GTO for $100 that fit the H4 HID's I have and found out that they are not DOT approved, which explains why the lighting sucked. I couldn't get the light beam off the road 3' in front of my car, or out of the trees above me. They wouldn't through the light down the road like they should. I wound up ditching them for a set of Pilot H4 headlights that are DOT approved. HUGE difference in night time visibility.

Be sure they are DOT approved if you want to them to work like they're supposed to. Or find someone who has a set and ask what brand, who they bought them from and if they're worth the purchase.

And if you find a set, please share! I'd LOVE to have them on my C-10.
