bought my 1st shortbed yesterday!

I'm an avid Craigslist searcher. I mainly look for cheap parts trucks. I keep the money range on the low side so I don't get teased by the real nice trucks out there. On occasions, I find some shortbeds, but they are always either in a million pieces or in terrible shape for the asking price.

This particular ad had no pics and just read "****1970 short bed****"
with something like... "selling for a friend that's going thru a hard time, black plates, 350, call if you are interested"

I was reluctant, but my wife was out with my older daughter, so the timing was good. I threw my little one in the carseat and went to have a look. I was very surprised by what we found. So surprised, I ended up driving it home a few hours later thanks to the most understanding wife in the world! Sorry guys her sister is already married! LOL

Turned out to be in really nice shape for the price.

Here are some pics of my "wifes" new truck. Let me know what you think.
