Hello from San Diego

Just a note to introduce myself. I've long been a fan of old iron and have always love the "Advanced Design" style of pickup. I finally bit the bullet and invested in a 1955 in good condition.

My other vintage truck is a 1973 Bronco which I've owned for the better part of 15 years. While I'm used to working on that I already see a few things on the '55 that I have questions with so bear with me if I ask seemingly ignorant questions as I tend to subscribe to the "measure five times cut once" philosophy.

Looks like a great site and I look forward to participating.

Tim
