welp, I found out whats wrong with my engine today..

nothing! I finally broke down and took it to a speed shop. they said everything was good except for my HEI and timing, the carb needed some dialing in. they gave me the dyno tune and I have to say this is the best my truck has ever ran, finally! my stock HEI just isn't cutting the mustard so I'll be replacing it soon and I should be good to go. I guess the engine was just totaly out of wack all this time.

They also did two dyno pulls, 400 HP at 5800 RPM

they said I had a bad ass small block and something about if this engine was in a Camaro......
