Help with a Tilt Column repair

I bought this column and i want to go through it before i install it in my truck. The first thing i noticed is that the piece of plastic that the turn signal lever bolts to is broke.. the grey piece in the first picture... what is that called? Is there a part number for it?

Also, how do i go about getting the rest of it apart. Mainly the 2 upper pieces off so i can straighten the one out and get ready to paint it.

And one final question, what makes the turn signal cancel and return to off once you turn the wheel? there was a broken spring in there that may have been it? THanks
