Restored my back bumper for next to nothing

Looks much better. I did the same thing on my '72. I hit it with a wire wheel fist because the paint had popped off in spots and had rusted. I didn't want the edges in the paint,so the wire wheel took it down to bare real easily. It had been painted white over the silver. I didn't like the white on white so I went with the Rustoleum aluminum,like you did. These bumpers look better silver,as they came. I don't care for them white,unless the front bumper is also white.
So,you found a new chrome hitch ball for under $10,eh? That's cheap.
