350 to 700R4 swap

I know this topic has been covered many times, any help would be appreciated.

What is involved in this swap?
Any pieces that I should make sure that comes with the transmission from the wrecking yard?

The tranny is out of a 3/4 ton diesel.
Will this have a 2500 stall?
Are there any computeized pieces?
Will there be any modifications that need to be done?
I heard that there needs to be a rubber ball inserted somewhere, but the source may not be reliable.

Thanks
