How to lock out an auto lock??

I recently bought an mid-80's GM 10 bolt front axle, and I want to figure what gear ratio it has. The only problem is that it has auto locking hubs, and when I spin the wheel/rotor, the driveshaft does not turn with it.....I want to figure out how to manipulate the axle to get the driveshaft to turn with it.

Oh, the axle is on jack-stands....not on the truck. Thanks for any help you can give!
