New from Atlanta

Well, not Atlanta but west of Atlanta. This is my first real shot at one of these. My friend and I picked up a couple a while ago and flipped them but ever since we had those I've wanted one. I've been into the Fbody Camaros and Trans Ams for the longest time and decided it was time for a change. I'm a shadetree mechanic at best and love to tinker and learn. I just purchased this last week. Not a perfect truck, but I did'nt want a perfect one.

Over the years I've owned these

And miss the beige and silver car. But, I really like these trucks and really look forward to contributing to the site and sucking up all the knowledge I can. I'll have my truck out this weekend and get some better pictures. I'm currently finishing up the roll in liner (not like the bed will be used but it was pretty scratched up) and I'm waiting on a mechanic so the carb can get rebuilt (quadrajet) and I'm going to have some headers put on so I can get the full effect of the flowmasters that are on it. The truck has the factory 305 and 700R4. Not a hotrod but a cool cruiser and I cant wait for this years power tour in this truck. Should be fun.
