air bag placement
I apologize if this has been asked but I searched and couldn't really find an answer. I have been side tracked on my 54 project and I'm about ready to tackle the suspension on it now (had to save up money lol). Anyway I've decided to weld in the crossmember and trailing arm set up from a 67-72 C10. I also plan on installing air bags (firestone 9000 sleeve bags 1500lb, 1/4" port). My question is for best ride quality where should I place them? I have a 72 C10 that I do my hauling with so losing load capacity is not a major concern.
A) behind axle B) over axle C) on trailing arm at stock coil spring location D) Farther forward on trailing arm
