You know that little bolt, that holds the 'keeper' rod in your rearend? It's broke...

So I ordered me some of the fancy disk brake brackets. I took off my diff cover and proceeded to take out that little bolt that holds that 'keeper' rod in the rearend.

Well it came out nice and easy but I noticed it was only about 1/4" long.

If this happens to you then you have to be VERY patient! I managed to get that little bolt out. I noticed the rest of the bolt that was broke off had a little barb on it. I got a small allen wrench and put it up against that barb and started bumping that bolt loose a little at a time. You have to be very easy with it. I got my other hand and started wiggling that 'keeper' rod. After a few minutes it backed right out!
