i agree i was looking at the prices of one of those intakes and it was pretty steep it might be that there stand alone cpu was included in the set i looked at though

another option might be turbocharging or fitting a centrifugal supercharger to a otherwize stock motor , it would give a great wow factor to the motor too
compared to the prices of the fast setup it doesnt cost a lot more extra
the supercharger will give a ton of power down low , it will pull the towhitch right of the trailer , you are going to need a little bigger radiator though to keep everything cool enough to operate under boost for a longer time at highway speeds pulling cloud 9 , at low boost putting in 1 extra injector operating by a boostswitch mounting a stronger fuelpump and putting in a boostreverenced fuelpressurevalve should be enough to keep the fuelratio in the green
i seen a lot of turbo stuff using the lq and ls type motors they seem to be able to handle boost verry whell

i got a job again and having fun at it too

idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts
