S10 Gas Tank Solution

I didn't want my tank in the cab with me and apparently I have mounted my cab a little lower than I had anticipated. So, my S10 tank would not fit under my cab. To fix this, I ordered a 1965 Mustang 16 gallon tank and built a frame out of 1 1/2 inch angle iron. The bed support cross member was in the way to which I drilled out the factory rivets and flipped the cross member over. I did have to cut the cross member in half to remove it. Once installed I welded it back together after bolting it back in place. The tank clears the x member. All in all, it turned out better than I had thought it would. Now I can put my bed on for the final time. Not pictured is that I covered the original rear center filler inlet and moved it to the front corner behind the driver.
