New Member, Old rusty truck

Well I just picked up a 72' GMC 1500 long box, thought I'd introduce myself. Don't know much about it, but it has tons of rust through. Luckily I have a talented autobody friend lol.

350, auto, runs, so that's good. shifter linkage at column is very soft, I will have to deal with that after the body work.

Plans are to do a very budget based mild resto, Blitz Black, lower it on air, and make it a trailer puller for my custom VW squareback.

Pics of truck...

My plan is to get the cheapest jobber panels I can find, and used body parts. I want to do the earlier single round grill as well.

Will any of the 67-72 grills and lights bolt up to this?

Appreciate any help! Thanks!
