So I found a project got to much for me right now add on CL. Printed it out and ended up losing the printout for a while. While cleaning my garage I found it. Searched online and couldn't find any evidence of a repost. So I called the guy to see if he possibly still had it. He did, the whole project burb with roof rack. Told him I was only really interested in the rack and ask if he would part with it separately. He said sure and I made him an offer. 150$ was the agreed price, he emailed me a few more pictures and I asked when we could meet. Well he was moving in two weeks. I wouldn't be anywhere near his area for two weeks either. So I told him when I could be there and of course it was the day before he was leaving. So I let him know my interest and kept calling Avery few days to back it up. The morning before I called him told him I had the next day free and when I should be there. He gave me his address and cell phone and said to call once I take the exit off the freeway so I can meet him at the shop. So the next day I load up the flatbed and head his way. Was doing great on time only took me two hours instead of the estimated two and a half to get to him. Called him once I get the exit and grabbed some food and what's he say? I sold the whole project last night, and hung up in me. That was it. I was not only pissed but devastated none the less. Really pissed me off but that's life I guess.
